So, we have all these laws we are bound by. Such as Staying sober when driving; Do not use illicit/illegal drugs; Anti-battery against spouse laws; Child molestation laws. Now, the standard civilian is held accountable for any act that breaks these very potent and absolute laws, but, Politicians are not. Why is that? Do you really want a person convicted of DUI working for you and making laws that prohibit you from doing the same thing? Do you want to re-elect someone who has molested a family member, or a child of a friend, and blamed it on the child or alcohol or drugs? Do you want politicians who imbibe in drug parties with whores sitting in an office making 6 figures a year off of your taxes? Really? Because I don't. I want people I can trust in office, and for some damn stupid reason, Americans have sold out their trust to the highest bidder. How can we make our children understand about honor, respect, and trust, if we cannot elect officials who stand for and support these traits on their own? Why should any child believe in love, if all we do is act stupid and vote for stupid people?
