My hopes are that they are waiting to file these charges until the conclusion of the investigation. The prosecutor will not be able to file charges until he receives all of the police reports. It will be at his discretion whether to do so at that time. This being said, if no charges are filed at the conclusion of the investigation, please make sure this petition is sent to the prosecuting attorney, Dan Knight, as he is an elected official. If he is aware that his constituents want to see the law upheld, it will carry a lot of weight for him to do so. Would you do something if it were YOUR son? I can't begin to describe the anguish of watching a mother bury her son, and a ten year old daughter burying her daddy.
