**PETITION FOR THE ARREST OF J.L. VAN DER VELDE**

To the Federal Bureau of Investigation :


I undersigned, in our quest for justice and accountability within the cryptocurrency community, hereby petition for the immediate arrest and prosecution of Mr. J.L. Van Der Velde, the former CEO of Bitfinex.

WHEREAS, Mr. Van Der Velde has held a position of significant authority and trust within the Bitfinex organization, and

WHEREAS, there are serious allegations and concerns regarding potential misconduct and mismanagement of funds under his leadership, and

WHEREAS, the integrity of the cryptocurrency market relies on the lawful and ethical conduct of its leaders,

WE HEREBY URGE the relevant law enforcement agencies to take swift and decisive action in the investigation of Mr. Van Der Velde, and should sufficient evidence be found, to proceed with his arrest in accordance with the law.

This action is not only necessary for the protection of the investors and users of Bitfinex but also crucial for the preservation of trust and security in the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.
