Arundhati Roy, the well-known activist and journalist, voice of the voiceless and the oppressed peoples has been charged with sedition for her remarks on kashmir. The so-called sedition speech by her is a historical fact, said over and over again by many people including former Indian Prime Minister.The Indian Government is trying to book her, encouraged by the media campaign run against her. This is a clear case of divergent views being curbed and punished in a country who prides itself as the world's largest democray. Its an attack on a free speech. Its an attack on truth I would request everyone to sign this petition. We must save voices that speak for the voiceless.
