I would argue that Nog has the greatest character development of anyone in Star Trek. Unlike Spock, Data, Odo, etc. Nog started out as a mischievous, illiterate boy arrested for stealing, and developed into a man who risked his life doing what he believed in. He achieved all this not from being a progeny, or having any special powers, but from hard work. We see him try and fail and try again. He didn’t have much screen time but he left a lasting impression. Nog wouldn’t have had this amazing arc, if Aron hadn’t had the humanity and talent to make it work. He put his heart into that character, and it showed. His character deserves to live on and be remembered for his greatness.
