How many baseball fields do you see where Dollar General donated? I see Arkport Shurfine, Arkport Cycles and so many other local small businesses.

What would be the purpose of another Dollar General when we already have 2 within 5 miles of Arkport?

Not to mention the increase in criminal activity that will need police involvement suc as shoplifting, vagrancy, alcohol and drug intoxication, menacing toward other customers and employees, fighting, among other activities that warrant law enforcement involvement. These are seen in similar DG stores in the county set in a residential area. Waiting for concrete data. This is just increasing opportunities for criminally minded individuals to have a stop for them on 36, the drug running road from the north to Dansville, then their little stops on the way past Addison. Plus, the sight line from the proposed site looks to the bank and post office parking lots where our kids skate board and socialize. Evil is all around us. All we can do is decrease the opportunities that would hurt all of us.

The location is unsafe for the athethic field, we don’t need more traffic coming through for this specific location. My house is right down the road from this and it’s going to be an eyesore for our small town.

The other store is less then 3 miles. We don't need one that will hurt our small family owned local business. Where its located you will see more accidents.
