Arkansas PRISON BLOOD SCANDAL and Petition for RELEASE of Rolf Kaestel
FREE Rolf Kaestel, who has been serving a life sentence without parole for robbing a taco hut of $264 in 1981. Many of you will have heard of Kelly Duda, who wrote and directed the film: Factor 8: The Arkansas Prison Blood Scandal (2005). As part of the filming Kelly interviewed a man called Rolf Kaestel, who has been serving a life sentence without parole for robbing a taco hut of $264 in 1981. He went to great lengths to help the victims of contaminated blood discover the truth about what happened in Arkansas, and was severely punished as a result. After Kelly interviewed him for the film, Rolf was whisked away out of the state to a Utah prison, cutting him off from Arkansas altogether.
Rolf is currently serving the 34th year of his sentence – a sentence which most people would say is extraordinarily severe for the crime he committed. We are now working hard to secure Rolf’s freedom and if you would like to find out more and possibly support Kelly in his efforts, you can sign this petition to support Rolf Kaestel's release.
