Seriously it is absolutely ridiculous. I was this close to deleting the game when I realized it had happened. It’s not helping, its making people quit your game.

Please bring back option to lengthen or get rid of tether. We play on PS4 and I keep yanking my husband off cliffs. We have to be so close to each other, we can't do the things we individually want to do. We have game from library but would buy it if not for this limiting factor. We only play local single player together w/ couch coop.

I think it's in the best interest of the community as a whole and I think the tether is just a scrapable concept completely, even splitscreen isn't fun with the barrier. It just has to go.

This is ridiculous, the game would be so much more fun if I didn't have to shell out $200+ to play in a friendly, non-toxic environment without a tether restriction.
If the game can handle the rendering with player dedicated servers, it can handle it with non-dedicated.
I want to enjoy Ark but you guys have killed that with this tether,

please correct this tether issue. very frustrating. 3 ppl in the house have PS4's and we all have the game and want to play together but the tethering severely limits enjoyment

Host tethering is the worst thing in this game if my friends want to go tame something but I want to stay at base and gather materials or work on my house NOPE too bad your going with rather you like it or not because host tethering is gonna grab your ass either way PLEASE FIX
