Recently started playing ark and this barrier in my own server sucks

My friend and I enjoy ARK every now and then, and I think we would enjoy it even more if the tether option made a come back, because it's a real turn down when you have to force/drag your friend to follow you everywhere especially when there trying to do something of there own and the it's reason why we don't play ARK as much. Like seriously what's the purpose of having a game with a giant sandbox to free roam if you can't even free roam it?

It is difficult to play split screen with my fiance we can't even use the raft with me standing right next to him and it saids I'm out of range

I’ve been playing ark for quite some time now and my friends are having to hug my arse every time I play on the non dedicated server. We’re thinking to moving to a public until the host tether either has and option to become larger or it to be removed all together. If this doesn’t come in the next few updates say goodbye to ark from me. Make Wildcard notice this!
