Delete the stupid tether. If gta, MineCraft, reddead, destiny and so many others can do it so can wildcard. They are just lazy

just bought this game and greatly regret it due to the tether mechanic and its very clear to me there is little to no reason for this feature surely if there were actually performance problems you could scale back less important things to make up for it rather than ruining the experience as a whole. ill take lower resolution sky, plants, animals and water over a tether any day and i think the majority of gamers agree that gamplay should always be more important than graphics though honestly i find it hard to believe your game has trouble running a server of 2 people without a tether and it seems more likely you are enforcing a tether just to force people who want to play with friends in a controlled environment to rent servers otherwise id be able to use my personal computer to host the game for my friend and i on ps4 with absolutely no issue but since you do not provide that option it is apparent you are only trying to extort your customers into renting a server.
