Chess is one of the most prestigious games and requires more and consistent hardwork. It cannot be played by an amateur like other sports. So plz it would not be fair if no Arjun award for chess.

After cricket, Chess was the sport that took India to great hieghts. Vishy became GM in 1988. Now Vidith, Adhiban and others are making India prouds. They all deserve it

The most unfocused game from ministry of youth affairs and sports, now need proper support for upcoming star players of Indian Chess, not only in terms of financial support but also require huge appreciations on their achievements and success.
