I am a young boy of 16 and i believe that chess is also an important game as cricket amd chess players should also get the appreciation and awards aw they also make our country proud like Anand did and India was considered world champion so like cricket it should also be considered separately.

Similar to other international sports, Chess and chess players should also be given recognition in India so that more children get motivated to pursue this game in future. Also, the excellent chess players of India who have achieved various titles at global level and have made our country proud are worthy of constant support and appreciation from the government in the form of national awards and monetary funds.
