Why always cricketers are given so much importance in india why not chess players. People like vidit, adhiban and many more have done so much for the country and still government neglect them like nothing...but now this should change because it's not like they are mediocre players, they are top level players of our country and I they should be given the Arjuna award.

Anybody who makes India proud deserve appreciation from government and I think chess players are those people , who shows their exceptional skill and makes india proud again and again on different stages.

the contribution of chess players like vidit , adhiban is phenomenal. they should get more respect and support.

I think chess players deserve more. Many people think it's boring but it's a great spectator game. Als chess is not as widely recognised as cricket badminton etc. now Tata bye

If Chess doesn't get the recognition it deserves, idk what should.

Please consider acknowledging the players before its too late and stare at a helpless situation where no one no longer represents the game of chess.
