Chess should be treated equally like other sports and should be given govt incentives and get nominated for Awards. Even after being the world champion this sports is getting ignored by govt. Chess matches should also be telecasted on national TV.

It's says that strongest minds survives and not strongest bodies. Chess is something which strengthens your mind and that's the reason the best players of this game.. Must be awarded for their intellectual strength and sharpness.

Pls ... These ppl deserve it the most... U have funded sports like Cricket so much and spent so much on it.... Were as we haven't won as many games in Cricket as we have won or achieved in chess... Pls support our chess community in india...

Aren't the chess grand masters of India, deserve arjuna award? They are doung so well, incredible. If you consider the online 2020 chess olympiad the government didn't even interfered in providing with some good connections to the Gm's who were playing the game, as many players teams faced the same problem though, even in the final match with Russia, but thankfully we got justice for that internet connection problem, but yeah government doesn't even bothering about what's going on with the team india chess.
They most probably support or help in the favor of cricket, coz obviously they will be getting a huge money from it, so they'll sponsor them make a community for them etc... etc... look i doesn't mean to say don't support indian team, i mean you could atleast help somehow a little bit though to to the indian chess team too.

Chess is international recognized game and its origin in india so many young talented coming Govt encourage must every year compulsory arjuna Dronacharya as well as Rajiv khelratna plz to our chess players also
