Many chess players deserve it but don't get it. This may lead to their demotivation and degradation in their performance. Gradually, Arjuna Award should be given to players like Vidit Gujrathi, Adhiban Baskaran, S.P. Sethuraman, Nihal Sarin, Praggnanandha, Gukesh D and all the other players who excel at chess and have brought fame to our country.

It's high time.. More attention needs to be paid by the govt toward the hardships hardworks of the chess gems of india who've brought so many awards for the country and made us proud
