Indian chess players brought laurels for our country by winning medals at various global level competitions. It is high time for the government to acknowledge their efforts. Not to forget chess is being played in around 193 countries, and in India alone there are 64 GMs. So the sport is rapidly growing but inorder for India to reach the level of Russia, our govt should support our players in whatever way possible. Hoping to see a positive change in Indian chess scenario
