Chess is an amazing game and our players have been winning us laurels at international level for a long time now. We should acknowledge this and the GOI should give Arjuna Award to players.

In other sports there are awards given like every year, like in cricket Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Poonam Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Ishant Sharma, Deepti Sharma
every good player is given award, and in football, the team doesn't even qualify for FIFA the also they are recieving awards. But in chess there is no awards given since 2013 even when the player are doing awesome at world level like Vidit is world rank 23!!! and Adhiban is WR 83. It is really awful.

This is important. India mein be Cricket cricket hota hai.. but these players are doing much more than that.
