The players have put in so much effort without much assistance. Chess needs more recognition and surely the players need to get more awards to encourage the royal game in India.

It is very demotivating to a sportsperson when he/she is not appreciated for a good game and for a big achievement. Sportsperson work hard and they feel they have given their best when they are appreciated by fellow countrymen.
