I think many of chess player like vidit , adhiban etc and many more GM are deserving to be honored with arjuna award because chess is having its own standard in this field , and the players who are sacrificing and achieving medals for the country is proud but countries responsiblity is to give them back in return some thing that is arjuna award , etc

We definitely require the Arjuna Awards for chess players as they also like other sports put in a lot of work and training for years and years and only then they achieve a GM title for India.
