Everyone ignores chess for the simple fact that it doesn't attract much crowd or it doesn't happen in a fancy way but that doesn't mean that these players aren't making india proud . India's performance in chess tournaments is far better than the performance in other sports yet it is constantly ignored . It shall not happen anymore so now is the time to change it.

Indian chess is at it's all time high, with extraordinary GMs like Gujrathi, Adhiban, Praggnanandha, Sarin the future of Indian chess is in an upwards spike. A 7 year Gap is a shame.

Just because they don't do any physical training. It does not mean they don't get arjuna award. It's such an mentally exerting game and the players like Vidit, adhiban and many more they also deserve the recognition.
