This seems really unfair that Chess players are always sidelined when prestigious Arjuna Award names are selected.

Chess was originated in india..travelled to europe..and slowly we are losing the value of it...players are having to practice on their own costs..whereas a sport like cricket originating in europe just because of a higher revenue is being given a lot more importance....but i believe in what our PM once said in parliament..we are still sticking to our roots and i think it is essential for us to do so in sports too
