Vidit. Adhiban, Padmini Rout and Sheturaman need to be awarded the Arjuna award ASAP. Nihal Sarin and Praggnananda are our upcoming superstars. In fact, Pragg has the talent to be our next Vishy Anand. Support the Titans, guys!
BTW Vishu Sir need to be recognised with the Padma Vibhusan at least, or the Bharat Ratna. He has been flying the India flag high for around 35 years.

Not counting chess just because its not an Olympic sport or as popular as cricket is just a travesty.
It gave a legend like Vishy Anand to my generation to be proud of. If our future generations are to have same or better GM's to support or inspire its a must that we show the greatest of respect and support them with honour such as Arjuna award.

@KIRENRIJJU atleast don't bring politics over here or if not , then please Do give recognition to chess at par with other sports. No innovation scheme will give productive result unless u recognize a game which is in itself is creative when every new game is played

Please do the needful and provide the chess player with all the facility they need and also give them what they deserve.
