As a Colorado native I've fished for warm water and cold water species my entire life. I'd rather chase Tiger Muskie than anything else that swims! They're challenging to catch, fight hard, and grow to impressive sizes... they also double as a wonderful lake management tool and being that they're a sterile hybrid there's not a ton of risk involved with stocking them in new bodies of water.

Muskie fishing is the number one geowing segment in fishing. And as someone who lives in the north, winter oportunities are great. also would seem to be good for your states economy.
