I moved here about 10 yrs. ago from PA. Muskie fishing was priority for sport fishing. I would love to be able to fish for them once again..when you hook one of these monsters it consumes your days fishing!

Muskies from Spring Lake North, Illinois could do very well with the Stripers in Lake Pleasant. Maybe stock a forage fish along with some Smallmouth Bass (an awesome idea). A closed season for when the surface temps reach the 80's is another idea. The Muskies know where to go when the surface temps are high.

I support stocking Lake Pleasant with muskies. I grew up in Wisconsin fishing for muskies. I moved to Scottsdale in 1985 for the weather and my business. In year 2000 I moved back to Wisconsin taking my tech manufacturing business with me because I missed musky fishing so much. I hate the weather in Wisconsin and will likely move myself and my successful business back to Arizona if muskies are stocked in Lake Pleasant. I urge you to stock extended growth pure strain muskies in Lake Pleasant. Do NOT stock hybrid muskies.

That'd be great. The bass fishing sucks and the striped population us overrun. How about some smallies while your at it too.

Muskie fishing would be a huge draw especially for winter visitors that are used to fishing Muskies. Thank you.

I'm an avid muskie fisherman from PA, but we visit my in-laws frequently who live in Surprise, AZ. I would love to be able to fish lake Pleasant for muskies whenever we visit. It appears the lake has very good potential to be a solid muskie fishery if managed properly.
