For about 10 years Manny made the Filipino people proud and placed the attention of the world on the resilience and greatness of the Filipino people. His comments was clearly taken out of context by the media and this Aries Dela Cruz took this opportunity to shame our national pride, this just fuels the already bad image of the Filipino regarding crab mentality. Although Manny is a public figure owing to his achievements, he is still entitled to his own opinion. You cannot force your beliefs and ideology to a person. That's what Manny believes in and that's none of your business Aries dela Cruz. You may not like his views but he is entitled to it, just like you are entitled to be a homosexual yourself. Will his views on homosexuality end your life? I doubt so. Will it end your being a homosexual and freedom to be one? Never. So just accept the fact that people are entitled to their own opinions so long as it doesn't physically limit your freedom.
