Dear Mr. White, Ariel Helwani is a huge supporter of the UFC, and, while he made a mistake, it wasn't out of disrespect for you. Having heard his show many times, he was most likely just excited and wanted to spread that excitement. Helwani is a reporter, and this is his job; the fault really lies with person who leaked the information. As someone who is a huge fan of the UFC and Helwani, I can say the surprise wasn't ruined for me; I didn't see the post until after the announcement. Even if I had, however, the commercial was so flawlessly assembled that I guarantee the end shocked everyone before excitement struck. So many rumors fly around UFC fights no one probably believed it was true until your official announcement anyway. Please Dana, be the amazing supporter you always are and forgive-and-forget what happened with this other supporter. All the best, Melissa Mittan

Ok, I'll relent. Helwani can report on UFC events as long as he pays his own entrance fees.

Hell of a reporter! Gives the fans what they want and dedicates his life to it. How can you hate on him?

Shocking pettiness. A quality reporter who has helped bring in wider audiences is victim of ufc brass starting to think they can control it all. Part of ufc growth should be the realisation that you have to let go
