Please support my nomination to continue my role as VP at large for AFT Oregon.

I am the Chair of Bargaining and Co-chair of the Executive Council for PSUFA, the adjunct union at Portland State University, and a current VP at large for AFT Oregon. After serving for the last 2 years in this role with AFT Oregon I've got my bearings with how things work and I would like the opportunity to put that knowledge to use. In particular by getting more involved with the Political Action Committee and the Social Justice Committee. I am excited to help tie together our struggles across AFT Oregon Locals and beyond, to build AFT Oregon's role as a leader advocating for workers' rights and our communities rights. Some of the work I hope to take on for this next session:

  • Build more ways to share resources and strategies for bargaining across locals.
  • Support more legislative organizing and communication.
  • Organize for increased worker involvement in higher ed decision making on Board of Trustees, Higher Education Coordinating Committee and Legislation.
  • Increase state revenue for public education.
