Under the impression that the first 90 minutes of care are important. Would take more to travel. Why is any where south of Edinburgh or Glasgow seen as less important. Do we not pay the same taxes

This is a prime example of the Scottish government centralising medical service. It need to be fought for the people of Grampian. We deserve as good a service for the population of this area.

We need more major trauma centres in Scotland. I'm sure that if any political party can make this happen - it will be the SNP!

Just another sign that the cental belt is taking control, to the detriment of the rest of Scotland, as it did under Labour.
I'd expected better from the SNP.

Don't forget you have a lot of supporters here in the north east so don't let us down. The border doesn't stop at Edinburgh

Common sense gone mad. So if their was an incident offshore in Aberdeen they would fly them to Edinburgh or Glasgow. Also the oil capital of EUROPE and we wouldn't have a major trauma centre. About time Aberdeen got some recognition instead of side shifted all the time.

This central-belt focussed model is a troubling one. Aberdeen is Scotland's third-largest population centre. The North of Scotland needs a major trauma centre, the time taken to transport people in dire need will make all the difference to their survival.

Cannot see the logic in excluding Aberdeen from having a Major Trauma Centre
