Just another example of the Central Belt and its politicians not wanting Aberdeen and the North of Scotland to have nothing. Considering the vastness of the area up here, we really do need a Major Trauma Centre at ARI.

It is absolutely essential and life preserving that the North of Scotland is served by an accessible Trauma Centre. A two centre model does not provide adequate coverage.

Aberdeen needs this

This is a disgrace. ARI is one of the foremost hospitals in Scotland and serves what is otherwise a remote diverse community and it is unthinkable that it should not be a major trauma centre!

The SNP have already destroyed local policing in Scotland for absolutely no savings to the public purse. Crime figures are down because people know that there is little point reporting incidents as Police no longer attend and investigate a fair percentage of crimes. Now residents outside the central belt are to loose a life saving medical facility. Shame on you SNP, you're traitors to the people of Scotland (outside the Central Belt, that is )

The ARI and the health of people in the north of Scotland are no longer in safe hands.

Why have 2 centres that are 45 miles apart in a large geographical area like Scotland? It does not make sense.

Not having a trauma centre in Aberdeen to serve the North of Scotland would be a governmental management decision made for reasons excluding common sense.

The SNP's health secretary seems to to think that adding 20-30 mins helicopter ride from Aberdeen is a worthwhile risk. But what about the Highlands and Islands?

We need a trauma centre in the North East so that people in the North can be treated within a reasonable time. One for the north region and one central is the only sensible resolution.

Aberdeen covers a massive area, with so many accidents it would make sense! Travelling further south could b vital time lost in saving lives.

We need everything as close to home as possible having been a patient in and out of hospital since birth it's important that you have loved ones close by to visit to cheer you up

Where is the logic in 2 trauma centres approx 45miles apart ( Central Belt) and not one in the North.
