Most important that the north-east have it's own Trauma Centre based in Aberdeen, not only for the patients but relatives too have to be considered.

There is no question. ARI should have a Trauma Centre. I am a NHS member of staff as well as living in Aberdeen. Every week I here of road accidents. Time is of importance for the injured person. We need this unit in Aberdeen. If goes further down country, potentially could cost more lifes & would make it costly and more traumatic for relatives.

I am glad to see that Nicola Sturgeon has buckled under the pressure which the staff, patients petitioners & Lewis Macdonald in particular have exerted. I look forward to her words being turned into action.

This is a vital part of the infrastructure in the north - investing in the ARI is essential to ensure that people here do not become second class citizens.

Aberdeen is at risk of losing valued staff and people with the downgrading of facilities. Investment is required in Aberdeen to ensure its future!

Once again Aberdeen comes second best to the Central Belt. Disgusting. The Western Peripheral Route was first suggested in the 1940s. Are we going to have to wait 70 years for a major trauma centre?

As resident in Moray I often feel that the Scottish Government often forget that Scotland does not finish after Glasgow/Edinburgh. I major trauma unit in ARI could mean life or death for seriously people. If you go back on this promise, how can yoy be trusted to govern fairly in the interest of the Scottish people.

It is vital that Aberdeen has a major trauma centre. The fact that SNP are centralising services and locating them in the central belt is a disgrace. We have major concerns for the health and safety of individuals who may need emergency trauma care in Aberdeen & NE Scotland.

It is not just the north east of Scotland but the whole of the north of Scotland and the islands. As usual the north is overlooked for all resources to be sited in the central belt.

It is imperative to have a trauma centre in this area of the country. We can't all be looked after in the Central Belt.
