If this goes by as an OK thing people will start exploiting every possible rule and I don't want to play a game in which I don't need to learn the rules but to learn about loopholes

Patrick Hoban, whilst not cheating, has undermined the fair play of the game and is not an individual that I believe should be at the forefront of an organisation such as ARG. A person at that level if play should be someone new players can learn from and old players can respect, Patrick fits neither of these and is toxic to the community

His unethical playstyle and mindset should not be sponsored and encouraged. He sets a very bad example for the player base. Everything from his actions in Berlin to his unethical play in this recent event says that he is not fit to be sponsored by ARG.

If you have to lie to your opponent to have a competitive edge in a match you are not a professional.

when a player does something this unjust, he has to remember his actions have consequences for more than just himself. his bad sportsmanship represents arg poorly.

Wow one of the most disgusting players to try to cheat his opponent by gaining an unfair advantage by tricking them and then when caught making illogical arguments that yugioh is a game full of lies he needs to not be sponsored after the stunt he tried pulling no one wants to even see this guy at events

While Hoban didn't technically cheat, what he did is pretty scummy and was both disrespectful and unsportsmanlike to his opponent.

Although not cheating, his actions have bought ARG and the game into disrepute.
