Team Owners, In the past several months there have been several issues that seem to be a "Black eye" for this league and have fans and local sponsors concerned with the lack of response provided from the league office. Issues to be addressed: A. Incedent in Jacksonville, Coach for Saber Cats charged with Felony Assault and coach is not suspended pending the outcome of the legal process. B. Kyle Rowley Arrested for DUI/Resisting arrest and no league action taken. C. The handling of the Chicago Rush. Games being played without replay, The league not doing its due diligence to see if owners can afford to operate the team and selling the team to an individual with prior Felony convictions. Fans across the league deserve the same game day experience at Chicago as they get in Spokane, Philly or Tampa. D. What steps the league is taking to prevent further teams from folding and why we are not expanding to create better geographic rivalries. E. Fans are very concerned about the attendence problems plaguing the league. With attendence at an all time low, how much longer can teams keep their doors open? Without these teams and no expansion in new markets what are the plans to sustain the league? F. In the collective bargaining agreement process, we witnessed players being fired at the team meal and forfeiting of a game that was to be televised nationally causing other games to be cancelled by the NFL network later in the season. If there is a collective bargaining agreement, why is there still talk about teams paying players under the table? What happens to the Owners who do this and what happens to the players who received the payments? What steps do you take to insure that this is not happening? As fans and sponsors of our local teams we feel the need to bring our concerns to you. As Owners of the Arena teams you are obligated to address these issues directly with your fan base as well voice these concerns to Commissioner Kurz. As owners you can get Mr. Kurz to be more responsive to the fan base and local sponsors or as owners you have the power to put someone in his position who will answer these issues as well as move the league forward.
