I do not tolerate bullies. Restricted public meeting regarding this unthought out ‘business’ venture is being conducted like a kangaroo court. A matter of public record, these consultation meetings are not balanced, open or well advertised. Time and again the main driver of this less than clear consultation centres around Mr Tony Freudmann, someone whose success or lack of it commercially speaking is also on public record. Has anyone sought the Labour party’s stance on this proposal?

Quality of life impacted by old cargo planes and holiday jets and the number of flight paths now being considered. A 747 was stopped from flying last time the airport was open as it was un-airworthy - it stayed at Manston for several years until it was broken up. There should be no late arrivals apart from emergency flights - Gatwick and Heathrow have that.. River Oak tried last time but they have no expertise in airports or running one they deal in student accomodation.. Its about time the brown envelopes stopped changing hands and residents lives and health are respected. Roger Gale lives nowhere near a flight path.

Can't believe that the quiet villages of thanet need to be subjected to the noise and pollution of yet another airport in this day and age. Please stop this madness.

We need to reduce flights to meet our carbon targets for climate change prevention

We moved to Beltinge in Herne Bay 14 years ago, as we visited the area many times due to a relative living there. We decided that we would like to move to the area as it is a quiet and traditional Seaside town with a slow pace of life. We moved in November 2008. After a few months of living in our home, to our horror we had low flying Commercial airplanes coming over the roof of our house! We were very relieved that Manston closed. To hear that the Government is allowing Manston to redevelop and reopen into a bigger Flight Hub with noisy Freight aircraft being allowed, that are not even allowed at Heathrow. Is madness. Especially after all the evidence against the DCO being unviable and the impact it will have on the people who will be living under the flight paths. These decisions are being made by people who are not living in these quiet villages or living under the flight paths. I still do not understand why the DCO for Manston is being allowed? There must be a lot of backhanders going on!

These flight paths cannot be allowed to happen. The airport should not reopen. However, if it does then all flight paths should be directed immediately over the sea and away from residential settlements. It is clear that the developers are not ‘consulting’ at all but simply planning just two ‘briefing’ events- ie they view it as a done deal already.

We cannot continue to pollute. This new airport polluted with noise as well as other horrid chemicals. Thanet has many unwell and disabled people, we don't want soot streets from un-regulated cargo planes. Protect our planet and our people

The damage to the surrounding areas, the increase of traffic without infrastructure, and the destruction of tourism to the area cannot be offset by tenuous promises of potential jobs for the local area. This is not to mention damage to house prices and quality of life for residence. I for one am also getting annoyed with the constant nostalgic reference to when the site was and RAF base. This is not the 1940s nor the 1950s when US aircraft we’re stationed there. A strategically positioned military airbase is something quite different to an international cargo hub.

I have been in the flight path on previous airport development's. Being close to the water tower in Ramsgate I have noise and windows rattling when planes fly over.

The frequency & noise of aeroplanes flying over south Gillingham have greatly increased day/night this year 2022 - especially noticeable throughout each night.

Put a second runway at Gatwick do not want to live under a flight path. Have you ever spent a day at Kew Gardens under the flight path to Heathrow - horrendous.

I object to the reopening of Manston Airport at least until I have been consulted on the proposals, flight paths and schedules.

I strongly belie e that all of those poyentially affected must be given the facts and a chance to register comments. Otherwise this is an illegal enterprise.

Talking only to others who agree with his views, excluding a wider discussion. His conversation is about investors not the environment, or those of us who live here and will have the noise and pollution. Who’s interests are being served here? Extra flights are not the future.

I live directly under the main flight path . I haven’t been consulted about anything - my property losing huge value after 5 years hard work on it is not even a remote consideration of RSP - when was I consulted? Do they propose any realistic compensation? Do they care? No is the answer to all three of these questions.
