Transparency of process is clearly required here, the levels of backroom decision making so far is a disgrace.

The approval of this application goes against all the evidence and advice given by the Inspectors in the course of a very thorough and expensive inquiry. There is neither justification nor logic and it threatens the economic, environmental and social life of the town

The airport is a terrible idea. It will be bad news for the environment and the affected towns. I cannot see one positive.

No to manston being reopened with lots of planes disrupting and polluting the surrounding areas.

Really concerned about the noise pollution, air pollution and effect on nature and wildlife of this airport re-opening.

We should be decreasing airports not adding to them.

I cannot believe that the DCO was authorised for a Cargo Hub which will probably run 24 hours a day despite their protestations when, the runway is in such close proximity to 40000+ homes.

Crazy decision to approve the DCO. Let's hope the JR comes up trumps

Sure it there needs to be an investigation into why something not recommended and not a national need has gone through anyway

Our property is under the training flight path where pilots would practice landing and take off on a Wednesday and Sunday. They would fly so low that you could not be heard talking to another person due to the noise. This is on the Ash Levels - in a remote, rural location with plenty of wildlife. The airport should not go ahead - since becoming a commercial airport - it has never been financially viable and has limited transport links.

Residents should be informed at every stage. It is RSP's profits but our lives.

This is a failed venture and has been several times over. The government decision to overturn the findings of the independent experts is a disaster for Thanet.
