I didn't know about this scheme, and it appears I will be under one of the flight paths. I object most strongly because of the noise nuisance, but also on ecological grounds. Pollution was demonstrably cut during Covid, and the last thing we need now is cargo planes - the worst polluters of all.

Living in Folkestone, I believe it is imperative that all those potentially living under flight paths are informed and that there is proper consultation.

I remember the planes going over years ago, the whole house shook. The airport will ruin the south east, for if you can, you will move, and take your businesses with you, and who would move to the area!? It will only benefit the few people who run the airport, not the thousands of people who would have to accept the noise, pollution, and depreciation of there investments.

At a time when all other airports are struggling to make a profit, this is a futile attempt AGAIN to make Manston airport work. It's surrounded on three sides by sea, so it's catchment area is very small. Also, they plan on having night flights, when such an arrangement isn't even allowed in Africa!

This will create too much pollution, traffic, noise. So many homes are needed - use the space for housing. Roads are small & narrow to Manston. Lorries will make these roads a nightmare.
