Stem cell research is a controversial topic because the embryos die but scientist get more information for their research. The research can potentially help cure Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's,heart disease, and birth defects.
So, is stem cell research worth the risk? yes it is because scientist can one day find a cure for not all but a few diseases.
