As a community, everyone who signs this petition is after safer roads for our drivers in general. As we all know there is a hoon epidemic going around in the logan city area. As the local facility at archerfield doesn't run often enough, due to lack of funding and support, it increases the chance of, younger drivers and some older drivers, being irresponsible on the road. What we are all trying to aim for is a more frequent use and support of archerfield speedway complex, more to a weekly or fortnightly basis. The support is not just for the burnout competitions but also for the speedway section and drift section of the complex to try and increase funding and support for these events. I know that this may not stop all stupidity on the road but it could quite possibly reduce some of it by making it more frequently used to possibly over rule the "Saturday night skids" at johnson road service station. If i can get enough signatures and also a few bits of feedback, i would like you, the council members, to consider some form of support for archerifelds complex to try and possibly decrease the moronic behaviours of certain drivers on the road.
