The noise is unbearable. The city really needs to address this. This activity is illegal, insanely dangerous and extremely disruptive to all that live on or near Archer.

The nightly drag racing is beyond disruptive. The drag racing starts at 9 or 10 pm and can go until 1 or 3 am. This has happened more frequently over the last month. Archer is a busy street so in addition to the noise it also poses a threat to safety of residents in our neighborhood.

I've called the police and emailed the alderman about the drag racing a few weeks ago.

We should add speed signs with cameras and radars that take pictures. Also, having a police car staked out on 23rd Street near the corner with a speed gun at high traffic times would help. I've heard the racers get together down the street near the White Castle and do help each other pay for tickets but Chicago needs revenue and enough speeding tickets will cause a license suspension. Thanks for doing this.

I was considering moving someplace a little more quiet than along Archer—maybe near the Daytona 500 racetrack.

No respect for the rest of the community - the worst part is they always do it after 11 pm on a WEEKDAY when most people are sleeping already. Out unit faces east and it's annoying - I can't even imagine how it must be for units on Archer!
Thanks for starting this up Ben.

Nic and I have been in contact with the Alderman and have sent videos to the alderman and the mayors office. We will keep doing this every time we see the drag racers.
