We should be able to stand for what we believe in. We are not doing this to miss class, we are doing to stand for the 17 fallen victims to gun violence.

I feel that this walkout will be a significant change to the way our community views gun violence. This is a nationwide activity, and I believe that if enough schools participate in this, gun control will be issued.

I wish for more people to know why this walk is very important. This is not only honoring the victims, but also sending out a message to people that it’s not ok that guns are so easily accessible. I do not wish to see this type of horrific incident happen to more people.

this is a movement for students, by students. we should be able to express our concern and passion for laws that effect our lives and the lives of our friends.

I want to get the chance for cars and people going by to see I’m not okay with how easy it is to access guns and that I stand with Parkland.
