In continuation with my earlier post, few facts for all Parents & People running the administration of the school -
Keeping all other components of the school fees constant, take a look at only the tuition fees in the last 4 years.
Till the academic year 2011 it was RO:19/- monthly.
In 2012 it was increased to RO:26/- (Increase of RO:7/- monthly from previous year)
In 2013 it was increased to RO:29/- (Further increase of RO: 3/- monthly from previous year)
In 2014 it was again increased to RO: 30/- (RO: 1/- monthly increase from previous year)
In 2015 it was further increased to RO: 32.5/- (RO: 2.5/- monthly increase from previous year)
Now in 2016, another monthly increase of RO: 4/- takes the tutiton fees to RO: 36.5/-.
This is more than 71% increase in monthly fees in just 5 years !
If the SMC is saying the salaries of the teachers have gone up, I am sure none of the teachers would agree that, their salaries have gone up by 71% !!!!
If the SMC & BoD are ready to be transparent in sharing the yearly financial statement of the school finances, and indeed the school is running in losses, I am sure none of the parents would complain, but is the SMC ready to share openly where they are investing in yearly increasing revenues for the school ???

This fees hike is unacceptable . Specialy in this situation of the country, companies are planning to reduce the salary or employee and experience of living coast also increased. Peoples are not getting any increment or bones from the company. Every year increasing the fees . School management is hiking fees whenever they want without informing the parents . This is unacceptable . We must protest against this act .

It is like a dictatorship policy. Without consulting about 7000 ISM parents. My 4 children are studying in this school,1 is passing out now and the remaining 3 will continue their studies in this school. As a business man the global recession has affected my business also.
Suggestions:
1)parents having 3 or more children studying in the school should get fees concession.

There is no courtesy in such a huge hike of 4 Rials announcement with out any proper clarificatiion.
We had to protest against that.
We cant afford it right now.
