Sign this petition to urge Fiji Muslim League to establish Arabic as a language in all FML schools. Currently they teach Urdu and Arabic is taught at adhoc basis by non-authentic speakers. As Muslims, Arabic is a crucial part of our lives and its one of the UN languages as well, so it could give an added boast when looking for work. Majority of us who have been through the FML schools and learnt Urdu, hardly ever use it in our everyday lives. Lets urge FML to be realistic and practical and give our future generations a better chance of reciting the quran in the beautiful authentic way it was supposed to be, not with an Indian twist!!
