We have gotten to know Rosina Kamis and her small Service Dog, Ara Poochie Kamis. Ara Poochie is very well behaved around us. He also helps Rosina a whole lot. We are totally against not renewing Ara Poochie Kamis's Service Dog Certificate.

If Ara Poochie's Service Dog Certificate does not get renewed, Rosina would lose her Guide Dog allowance from the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP). This would make it financially impossible for Rosina to take care of Ara Poochie, especially given that Ara Poochie has a history of Calcium Oxalate bladder stones. Due to the stones, Ara Poochie needs a special diet and medications to prevent the stones from forming. Rosina cannot afford surgery to remove the stones.

If Rosina loses Ara Poochie, it would impact her medically in various ways (e.g. Ara Poochie helps take away anxiety attacks). Rosina cannot function without Ara Poochie. Plus, over the years, Rosina has learned to rely on Ara Poochie. Losing Ara Poochie is not an option.
