Building a 50 meter competition pool would bring people TO Naperville and bring revenue to the city as well as the pool. It can be used year round for lessons, competitions, and much more. It's expensive, yes, but it's an investment. Let's do the research on how we can get money to support it from USA swimming and other swim foundations. It's worth the time to look into it.

The great thing about petitions is they don't work. For everyone who signs this, please let us know how much money you are willing to contribute to the construction of a pool. There are lots of pools in the Naperville area. Building a 50 meter pool so a few people don't have to travel to Pleasant Prairie twice a year is a waste of tax payer money.

definitely need to step it up and get a park district pool, the PD too often uses school facilities which puts them at a disadvantage for scheduling and coordination.

I coach, swim and am a parent to 3 swimmers all in Naperville. The need for a facility is great. There is so much that can be gained from it.

There is a need for a indoor 50M aquatic facility. There is enough recreational, competitive, developmental and therapeutic prorgraming available to support the costs involved with maintaining the facility.

I rather travel to Naperville and keep revenue in our state than driving to Wisconsin or Indiana for meets. Illinois (especially Naperville) needs a facility to host all these meets.
