This exam was frankly ridiculous! How is it that a biology exam requires no knowledge of the subject! All of that preparation was for nothing!

My son did this exam on Tuesday and was very disappointed to find that some of the questions were not related to Biology.

I revised biology for a biology exam with no biology. Giving us irrelevant questions is so unfair, especially when our future depends on this!!

Im a biology teacher ...my son knew that revision guide inside out , we studied past papers and the mark schemes and to see him come out of his first GCSE despondent at the questions he was asked was disturbing !!! It was a science gcse ....not applied science ....why tell kids to buy and use revision guides and then not set questions from it !!!!!! Edexcel gcse was a dream ....why was aqa not at same standard ?
