The Cork County Council continues to ignore our demands while our community settles for a glorified blue box instead of a real library. I am tired of their empty excuses regarding disability access and lack of space. We are organizing a formal protest at the council offices because they clearly refuse to listen to us through official channels.

The Cork County Council cannot continue to ignore the growing outrage over their pathetic excuse for a library. We have built enough momentum to prove that Newmarket refuses to settle for their negligence and illegal lack of access.

about time something was done. we have been promised this for way too long now.
newmarket deserves better than that tiny shack. kids need a place to study and people need somewhere decent to go. SORT IT OUT.

it is a joke that we are still waiting for a proper space. the current building is so cramped and hardly accessible for anyone with a buggy or wheelchair. ridiculous.
