I currently own a 2002 Futura the absolute best Sport/Tourer in the business. A new model would be well worth the effort.

I vote for a twin as the v4 is rather thirsty.

During a long road trip, my wife and I tried sitting on virtually every Sport Touring bike available. None matched the seat and riding position offered by the Futura.

Bought mine new in 2002 40k miles and cannot find anything which comes close to replace it with. Have looked at adventure bikes but they are NOT sports tourers!

owner of a 2001 Futura serial number ending in '69'. Best bike I've ever owned. Sold it once in a mistake - bought it back three years later.

A non adventure sport tourer is really required in the market. Aprilia are the right company to make it!

I'd be first in line to get one.

Sport Tourers are now back in vogue. Get the new Futura right and price it right and they would sell by the shedload. My own personal engine preference would be for a high-torque (at least 85bhp) 1200cc (or more) V twin.

The original RST Futura is an excellent versatile bike. A new version (RST-V4?) with modern engine, electronics & suspension could be phenomenal!

Loved my Fut, unfortunately lost to fire. Having a serious love affair with another one, but would love something more modern. Do it Piaggio!
