Petition for Parents and Concerned Citizens of Area 3 as outlined in Shelby County Schools’ Macon Hall Elementary Rezoning Plan Addressed to: Superintendent Aitken and Members of the Shelby County Board of Education Due to overcrowding at Macon Hall Elementary and pursuant to Shelby County School Policy 6006, we, the undersigned, would like to ensure the integrity of the present zone boundaries for Macon Hall Elementary. With the current Plan A & Plan B presented at the December 13, 2010, meeting at Macon Hall Element, we support the proposed Plan B to change Macon Hall to a Kindergarten through 4th grade school. We understand that this proposed Plan B would move Macon Hall’s present 5th grade to Mt. Pisgah Middle School.
