Approve the Liquor License Application for The Girl and the Vine

As a small business owner a block away for more than 20 years i believe they will be a great addition to our neighborhood. Having met the principles and seen the work they are doing i feel confident they will be responsible members of the community.

As a chef and former restaurant owner, I think it’s great we’re getting another restaurant option in TKPK

I support this business getting a liquor license. I live less than a mile away and have an elementary-aged child. I do not think Takoma Park businesses having a liquor license is a problem.

We love small businesses in Takoma Park and this shop/restaurant sounds like a wonderful addition to our neighborhood!

This is the best thing to happen in Takoma Park in a long time. Finally it will have a well needed establishment that is comparable to a well planned city that has food, drinks and a nice environment for everyone I relax and enjoy. I think it’s very unfortunate that a lone person or two can try to ruin progress in this city due to NIMBY actions. The owners are well established and I know will maintain a very pleasant atmosphere as they have shown with other well known establishments around DC.

Takoma Park homeowner who supports the liquor licence being granted to The Girl and the Vines. It is absolutely not fair that other businesses in the same area are allowed to serve beer and wine but not them. This would kill their business model and there is community support for that location to be occupied with this business.
