A development of this stature has been long needed in the Kingston beach area.

Move forward and upgrade public facilities. While you're at it put the jetty back with a restaurant at the end and a landing deck for weekend travellers to enjoy the beach.

This development is absolutely necessary and inline with the redevelopment of the cafes 50m down the road several years ago. To deny this is to hold back the growth of one of the finest beaches close to Hobart.

I have lived in kingston beach and Blackmans bay for the past 21 years. I have 5 children and I'd like to think our council would be aware of what the majority want and progressive in the considerations for the future.

We absolutely need this project, we need to move on and stop living in the dark ages. The current toilet block is and absolute disgrace.

Been around the beach for 17 years, and am also a previous vice commodore of the Kingston Beach sailing club Would love to see the surf club development plans be put through and bring the Kingston community together, and promote safe beaches and activities for multiple age groups promoting healthy living

I dont live in Kingborough but use the beach and facilities regularly over the summer months and feel that this development would be a great improvement on the current facilities.

This a much needed facility and what is currently on the site is very degraded and a terrible waste of the land. Pity about the eucalypt going.

a significant beach like Kingston should have good facilities for its life saving club

A much needed development - the current situation is an absolute eye sore. Rate payers would like to see more done in the community with their money. Long term this will just add value to the area.

The current public toilets are a disgrace. They need replacing and what better way to do it than with a development that also provides a much needed facility at Kingston Beach. Please approve the development.

If you want to provide a safe beach then this has to be approved.

This is asset to the Kingston community in so many ways. The services the Kingston Beach Surf Lifesaving Club provide are astounding considering the lack of facilities they are currently operating out of. This could only be improved and expanded with the development of proper clubs rooms. Not mentioning the addition of functioning public facilities which are completely lacking at Kingston Beach (which is the biggest complaint of beach users at Kingston).

local community, tourism, and increased numbers at multiple events held throughout the year at K Beach. (Oz day, Anzac day etc.) How can you not approve this?
