Please let Mrs. Hudson complete the 2015-16 school year at TMA. It is hard enough to see her go, but to not let her stay until the end if this school year would be too much to bear.

I appreciate the time and consideration by those who have been charged with the duties of making a critical decision that impacts the lives of many. The decision to have Mrs. Hudson finish out the school year at Tustin Memorial Academy (TMA) has become the priority topic within our community and the level of support is growing exponentially. With the high volume of communications being transmitted on this topic I will be concise in my comments and questions: - Two of my children attend TMA (4th Grade & 3rd Grade Gate) my youngest is enrolled to begin Kindergarten at TMA next school year. - What is the district’s motivation for this decision? - Why has the district chosen to de-prioritize and disrupt our children’s educational experience and needs? - Do you not understand how disruptive it is to remove a school leader in the middle of the school year? It has a direct negative impact on the children, teachers and parents. - The quality of the school leader controls in large part the quality of the school experience for the child, no matter how “good” a principal is, he/she can never be as effective in the role when they are coming into something mid-year. We as parents have chosen to trust our children’s educational well-being to Tustin Unified and cannot understand how educators would choose to break this trust by making a decision that will so clearly disrupt the teaching and learning that is happening this year at TMA. - A possible recommendation is that district hire an interim transition person to lead the merger and operational transitions. - It is understandable that you want someone with a strong track record of success to lead the merger/transition, but if you disengage Mrs. Hudson from her current role it is at the compromise of the TMA students and teachers. No matter how amazing the new person is there is certainly no way that TMA’s students and teachers will have the best possible year they can if the principal is removed mid-year. Respectf

It is extremely important for the students in any school to maintain the stability for an entire school year! I agree that Mrs. Hudson should be allowed to remain at TMA at least until the school year is over.

Please allow Mrs. Hudson to remain as principal of TMA for the full 2015-16 school year. As you know TMA has been nominated as a blue ribbon school. Continuity of leadership will help TMA in its application for this great honor. Mrs. Hudson is at heart of making this happen and is vital to the success of the TMA campus. She is a kind soul, with inspirational leadership, spectacular organization and an amazing personal touch and connection with students and parents. Consistency for children is critical. Removing a principal will have a ripple effect and could cause issue with the last part of the year for our children. Please keep Mrs. Hudson in place! Thank you.

We are luckier to have Mrs Hudson in TMA. We'll be missing her. We are sure that she will make the other school great. But let her complete this school year before transfer. Thanks.

For the sake of continuity and closure, I feel it is important to allow Mrs. Hudson to finish the school year at TMA. The unprecedented attempt to move her mid-semester represents a poor choice on the part of the District. Please reconsider.

My children both went to TMA. this is absurd that this is even an option. These children and families form a huge commitment and bond and it's difficult enough that you need to "move them around" after the school year is complete. I completely disagree to remove Mrs. Hudson from her thriving school before completing the school year. This would be devastating to the children and families and staff. Thank you.
